Cement and steel companies' opportunities:Jumped out of the pattern of import tariffs and trade war

Courage to change, achievements in the future! The Opportunity for US to impose tariffs on steel !

From the very moment when the United States suddenly increased its tariffs on steel and aluminum, the trade war between China and the United States has already begun (but the tariffs are not aimed at China alone).

There is no doubt that this bill has caused great difficulties for the export and sales of steel companies. As a manager who is more concerned about the world steel market, I also saw some out-of-office opportunities. I think you can use these opportunities as a reference.

In the ever-changing world, the survival environment of steel companies that rely on the production of steel to make profits is also very unstable. They are constantly affected by politics and already saturated production capacity. This is dangerous. I suggest that steel companies should adopt a diversified strategy, not only to increase product categories and technical content, but also to dare to jump out of this cruel pattern and adopt a different way of thinking to create revenue.

Therefore, I recommend that all large-scale steel production group leaders should seriously consider that the company plans to increase value-added projects for steel slag and industrial waste residue. Steel slag cement.

As the countries of the world, especially the developing countries, accelerate the process of urbanization and increase investment in infrastructure construction. The cement and construction industry is still very hot, and new large-scale cement production lines have also been increasing.Steel companies can fully invest in, through the grinding and processing of industrial waste, blast furnace slag, steel slag, can be sold to cement companies with higher prices and profits. Blast furnace slag powder has become a necessary raw material for the production of special cement.

Our company has successfully reached cooperation with many steel enterprises and built more than 100 blast furnace slag powder production lines (such as: Shanghai Baosteel, Indonesia Su Steel, South Korea Pohang, Tangshan Iron and Steel and other large steel enterprises)

industrial waste and The blast furnace slag powder production line has been increasingly welcomed by steel companies. India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, North Africa and South Africa will all be important markets. These markets have a large number of cement plants and steel enterprises, and the blast furnace slag powder production line will have a large market space.

GGBS:
Ground granulated blastfurnace slag (ggbs) Ground granulated blastfurnace slag (ggbs) is a by-product from the blast-furnaces used to make iron. These operate at a temperature of about 1,500 degrees centigrade and are fed with a carefully controlled mixture of iron-ore, coke and limestone. The iron ore is reduced to iron and the remaining materials form a slag that floats on top of the iron. This slag is periodically tapped off as a molten liquid and if it is to be used for the manufacture of ggbs it has to be rapidly quenched in large volumes of water. The quenching optimises the cementitious properties and produces granules similar to a coarse sand. This 'granulated' slag is then dried and ground to a fine powder.
The major use of GGBS is in ready-mixed concrete, and it is utilised in a third of all UK 'ready-mix' deliveries. Specifiers are well aware of the technical benefits, which GGBS imparts to concrete, including:
better workability, making placing and compaction easier lower early-age temperature rise, reducing the risk of thermal cracking in large pours elimination of the risk of damaging internal reactions such as ASR high resistance to chloride ingress, reducing the risk of reinforcement corrosion high resistance to attack by sulphate and other chemicals considerable sustainability benefits
In the production of ready-mixed concrete, GGBS replaces a substantial portion of the normal Portland cement content, generally about 50%, but sometimes up to 70%. The higher the proportion, the better is the durability. The disadvantage of the higher replacement level is that early-age strength development is somewhat slower.
GGBS is also used in other forms of concrete, including site-batched and precast. Unfortunately, it is not available for smaller-scale concrete production because it can only be economically supplied in bulk. GGBS is not only used in concrete and other applications include the in-situ stabilisation of soil.
